Vom Start über verschiedene Flugsituationen bis zur Landung erleben Sie, was normalerweise professionellen Trainingsumgebungen vorbehalten bleibt.

Gemeinsam mit zwei weiteren Teilnehmer*innen bilden Sie Ihre Cockpit-Crew. Jede Person übernimmt für jeweils 20 Minuten die Rollen Pilot*in, Co-Pilot*in und Beobachter*in.

Der Airbus A321XLR – Extra Long Range

Das „XLR“ steht für Extra Long Range – und genau dafür wurde der Airbus A321XLR entwickelt.

Mit einer Reichweite von bis zu 8.700 Kilometern (4.700 nautischen Meilen) und möglichen Flugzeiten von bis zu elf Stunden verbindet der A321XLR die Effizienz eines Single-Aisle-Flugzeugs mit Reichweiten, die völlig neue Langstreckenverbindungen ermöglichen.

Der erste kommerzielle Langstreckenflug eines A321XLR führte im November 2024 von Madrid nach Boston. Damit gehört der A321XLR zu den jüngsten Flugzeugtypen im internationalen Linienverkehr.

XLR steht für Extra Long Range. Der Airbus A321XLR wurde für besonders lange Strecken entwickelt und erreicht eine Reichweite von bis zu 8.700 Kilometern beziehungsweise 4.700 nautischen Meilen.

Wer kann teilnehmen?
Alle Personen ab 16 Jahren – Vorkenntnisse sind nicht erforderlich. Das Erlebnis eignet sich für Einsteiger*innen ebenso wie für Luftfahrtfans und AvGeeks.

Brauche ich Flugerfahrung?
Nein. Ein ausführliches Briefing bereitet Sie auf Ihre Zeit im Simulator vor. Während des gesamten Erlebnisses werden Sie von einem fachkundigen Instructor begleitet.

Wie viele Personen nehmen teil?
Das Erlebnis findet in einer Gruppe von drei Teilnehmerinnen statt. Jede Person übernimmt nacheinander die Rollen **Pilotin**, Co-Pilot*in und Beobachter*in.

Wie lange fliege ich selbst?
Die Simulatorzeit beträgt insgesamt 60 Minuten. Jede Person übernimmt jede der drei Rollen für jeweils etwa 20 Minuten.

Wie realistisch ist der Simulator?
Es handelt sich um einen zertifizierten Full Flight Simulator, wie er auch im professionellen Training eingesetzt wird. Cockpit, Instrumente, Geräusche und Bewegungen bilden das Flugerlebnis realitätsnah ab.

Nach dem Kauf im Condor Shop erhalten Sie eine Kaufbestätigung per E-Mail mit Ihrer Buchungs- und Rechnungsnummer. Diese dient als Ihre persönliche Teilnahmebestätigung.

Welche Termine sind verfügbar?
Die aktuell verfügbaren Termine werden direkt im Condor Shop beim jeweiligen Erlebnis angezeigt.

Kann ich den Termin frei wählen?
Die Teilnahme ist ausschließlich am jeweils gebuchten Termin und für den gebuchten Simulator möglich.

Wie lange ist meine Buchung gültig?
Ihre Buchung gilt ausschließlich für den gebuchten Veranstaltungstermin.

Kann ich meine Buchung übertragen?
Sollten Sie verhindert sein, kann die Buchung nach vorheriger Abstimmung auf eine andere Person übertragen werden. Bitte informieren Sie uns frühzeitig, damit die erforderlichen Teilnehmerdaten angepasst werden können.

Wie nehme ich am Erlebnis teil?

Die Simulatoren sind nicht barrierefrei. Bei körperlichen Einschränkungen kontaktieren Sie uns bitte vorab, damit individuell geprüft werden kann, ob eine Teilnahme möglich ist.

Gesundheitliche Hinweise:
Personen mit Neigung zu Reisekrankheit (Motion Sickness), Epilepsie, Herz-Kreislauf-Erkrankungen, frischen Operationen oder anderen relevanten gesundheitlichen Einschränkungen sollten vor der Teilnahme ärztlichen Rat einholen. What makes this experience truly special? You’ll take your seat in one of the world’s first certified Airbus A321XLR Full Flight Simulators – a simulator developed for professional training and designed to deliver an exceptionally realistic flying experience.

Following a detailed briefing by a qualified Instructor, it’s time to enter the cockpit. Displays, controls, sounds and movements recreate the flying experience with remarkable realism. From take-off and different flight scenarios to landing, you’ll experience an environment normally reserved for professional flight training.

Together with two other participants, you’ll form your own cockpit crew. Each participant takes turns in the roles of Pilot, Co-Pilot and Observer, spending approximately 20 minutes in each position.

Airbus A321XLR – Extra Long Range

“XLR” stands for Extra Long Range – and that is exactly what the Airbus A321XLR was designed to deliver.

With a range of up to 8,700 kilometres (4,700 nautical miles) and potential flight times of up to 11 hours, the A321XLR combines the efficiency of a single-aisle aircraft with the range required to open up entirely new long-haul connections.

What does A321XLR mean?
XLR stands for Extra Long Range. The Airbus A321XLR was designed for significantly longer routes and offers a range of up to 8,700 kilometres or 4,700 nautical miles.

Who can participate?
Anyone aged 16 or above. No previous experience is required, making the experience suitable for beginners, aviation enthusiasts and AvGeeks alike.

Do I need previous flying experience?
No. A detailed briefing will prepare you for your simulator session, and a qualified Instructor will guide you throughout the experience.

How many people participate in each session?
Each experience is designed for three participants. Everyone takes turns as Pilot, Co-Pilot and Observer.

How much time do I actually spend flying?
The session includes 60 minutes of simulator time. Each participant spends approximately 20 minutes in each of the three roles.

How realistic is the simulator?
This is a certified Full Flight Simulator of the type used for professional flight training. The cockpit, instruments, sounds and movements recreate the flying experience with a high degree of realism.

How does the booking work?
After purchasing through the Condor Shop, you’ll receive an email confirmation containing your booking and invoice number. This serves as your personal participation confirmation.

Which dates are available?
Currently available dates are displayed directly with the respective experience in the Condor Shop.

Can I choose another date?
Participation is only possible on the date and simulator specified in your booking.

How long is my booking valid?
Your booking is valid exclusively for the scheduled experience date.

Can I transfer my booking?
If you are unable to attend, the booking may be transferred to another person subject to prior coordination. Please inform us as early as possible so that the required participant details can be updated.

How do I check in on the day?
Please bring the booking number from your purchase confirmation. No separate activation is required.

Where does the experience take place?
The A321XLR Full Flight Simulator Experience takes place at the training centre in Dreieich, near Frankfurt am Main. (Get Direction PDF)

When should I arrive?
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your booked start time.

What do I need to bring?
A valid passport or national ID card is required for security registration.

Can I take photos or videos?
For security reasons, personal photography and filming inside the simulator are not permitted. A souvenir photo may be arranged on site with the support of the Instructor.
